Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Todd Haley earned his degree in Interior Design before embarking on a richly layered career that bridges the worlds of fashion, art, and interior design. His early years were spent in visual merchandising for Neiman Marcus and The May Company, where he designed couture windows and in-store installations for icons such as Donna Karan, Bill Blass, Anne Klein, Halston, and Victor Costa—immersing himself in the language of luxury, proportion, and visual storytelling.

Haley later contributed to fragrance campaigns for Estée Lauder, Paloma Picasso, Yves Saint Laurent, and Gloria Vanderbilt, refining his sensitivity to atmosphere, light, and the emotional power of presentation. Alongside these creative pursuits, he developed a distinctive expertise in floral design and event planning, mastering the art of composition and the choreography of spatial experience—skills that would later define the poetic precision of his interiors.

In 1988, Haley moved to Chicago, joining some of the city’s most esteemed architecture and design firms, where he deepened his command of architectural detailing and spatial balance. In 1992, he founded Todd M. Haley, a studio dedicated to crafting interiors that embody quiet luxury, sculptural form, and refined restraint.

Today, Haley’s firm designs residences across the United States and abroad, each project distinguished by its architectural calm, couture-level detailing, and modern sensibility. His clientele includes leaders in their fields, innovators in fashion, acclaimed artists, and “silent celebrities” who seek discretion, authenticity, and beauty expressed through simplicity.

Beloved among the creative class, Haley is recognized for his rare ability to blend artistic depth with disciplined design—creating spaces that feel both timeless and profoundly personal.
